We are looking for an experienced Family Support Worker to join the team at a brand new service in Oxfordshire, the salary is up to £30,000 depending on qualifications & experince. This is a highly rewarding role with the fantastic opportunity to start a new team!
You will be responsible for holding and managing a case load of children, young people, and whole families across Oxfordshire area. You will be based at various children and family centre’s, engaging with people where they feel most comfortable including schools, colleges, other partner agencies and local community venues.
Working with a trauma informed approach, you will provide specialist assessments, care planning, and deliver evidence based psychosocial brief and structured interventions through one-to-one appointments, groups, and online. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support people to achieve positive change whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
We combine proven expertise in working with young people and substance use with the latest evidence and innovative approaches to ensure the service is effective and makes a difference to the lives of young people and their families
