Family Support Workers work directly with biological parents/caregivers and their children to teach skills to work towards and keep a safe thriving home environment. A Family Support Worker will typically transport children to a supervised visit with their parents. Ability to have autonomy and flexible schedule while meeting case assigned hours Weekly meetings & training with your supervisor, monthly meetings & training with the agency, as well as, continued outside training brought in and provided to the team. We're hiring in all areas in Nebraska. Family Support Workers at Guardian Light Family Services (GLFS) are paid $20 - 22/hour. GLFS also pays an additional $3/hour pay rate differential when working with clients on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Mileage reimbursement when working with clients We provide 40+ hours of paid/invested training (which include job shadows, supervisor support, training and support), which occur in your first 60 days. GLFS provides car seats if required, paid drive time and mileage when working with clients. Must have demonstrated 2+ years of experience working with people to help facilitate change or a bachelor's in the human services field. (Volunteer experience with youth groups, daycares, budgeting, etc. - please be sure to list on resume). Timeliness and streamlined communication are needed.
Responsibilities
