Responsibilities

As a Family Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify family needs and strengths.
  • Working with MCFD referrals and Self Referral
  • Developing individualized support plans tailored to each family’s unique situation.
  • Providing guidance and resources to families regarding child development, parenting strategies, and community services.
  • Facilitating communication between families and service providers to ensure effective support.
  • Assisting families in accessing educational, health, and social services.
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting support plans as necessary to meet evolving family needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interactions and services provided while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
