As a Family Support Worker in the Florida Case Management Organization (CMO) department, you will provide transportation of youth to/from out-of-home care placements, to/from school, and to/from visits. Family Support Workers also supervise parent visits. A typical day as a Family Support Worker will include managing crises, de-escalating youth and adults, and driving. As a Family Support Worker, a large amount of time is spent face-to-face with high-needs teenagers, transporting them. Work hours vary based on shift and client demand, and an on-call schedule for nights and weekends is required. What does this position offer?
