Description
Description PURPOSE: Provides clerical, administrative, and oversite of statistical tracking for the adoptions program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists Dependency Case Managers in the provision of services to families. Facilitating and observing parent/sibling visitations. Arrange and/or provide for transportation of children ages birth to 18 years of age to parent visits, doctor appointments, counseling, court, placement changes, etc. Monitor parents and children during supervised visits. Complete summary of each supervised activity and document in the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) database. Provide appropriate modeling techniques, education, and other supportive services delineated in the case plan under the direction of the Case Manager. Provide/Complete documentation of observations during all client activities when interacting with the client or client’s family. Supervise children in absence of Case Manager or caregiver in accordance with agency procedures. Assist the Case Manager with obtaining client records including birth and death certificates as well as client health and education records. Participate in client staffings and all staff meetings. Participate in court hearings, as needed. Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Valid driver’s license in good standing. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum to two years of working with children and families. Previous child welfare experience and college degree preferred.
