Description AMHC is seeking a compassionate and organized full-time Family Visitation Scheduler to support and supervise visits between children and their families. In this dual-role position, you’ll be responsible for both coordinating visit schedules and directly supervising parent-child interactions—helping to ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment for families reconnecting and healing. What You’ll Do: As a Family Visitation Worker: Supervise family visits according to court orders and agency guidelines Monitor and support healthy parent-child interactions during visits Teach and model positive parenting skills (e.g., discipline, communication, active listening, age-appropriate play) Intervene when needed to ensure child safety—including terminating visits if required Provide transportation for children when needed for visits Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each visit Relay important information between parents and children when appropriate Testify in court as needed Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Coordinate with DHHS, foster families, and other professionals involved in the child’s care As a Scheduler: Coordinate all family visitation schedules based on DHHS referrals Communicate with DHHS caseworkers, foster parents, and families to confirm appointments Update schedules for Visit Support Workers and supervisors Identify and confirm appropriate visit locations Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and inform DHHS of any issues Maintain accurate records and communication logs Why Join Us? Requirements 1. Be 21 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma/GED. 2. Have at least 6 months of experience working with children and families. 3. Have no conviction for driving under the influence (OUI) within the last 5 years. 4. Not have been on probation or parole for the last 10 years. 5. Have no record of a conviction or a record of not being criminally responsible because of mental disease or defect for child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person. Have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last 10 years. 6. Have no current or past court order in which the provider is the person being supervised. 7. Have no record of substantiation for child abuse or neglect.
