Do you want to enhance a family’s or individual’s ability to reach goals through coaching, accountability, and self- awareness?
With over thirty years of experience, Alta Care Resources has a history of innovative and creative programming in the areas of; group care, crisis response, resiliency training, early intervention/prevention programs and family-based intervention.
The Resiliency Project provides a wide spectrum of services to meet the unique needs of children, youth, and families at risk. Resiliencies that strengthen families and enhance permanency, opportunities are discovered and nurtured through relational interventions.
The Resiliency Connections Worker (RCW) will provide in home supports to parents and families involved with Children’s Services, developing the family’s ability to maintain safety, wellbeing, lifelong connections and supports; generally visiting the family one or two times a week in the family home or in the community.
Additionally, the RCW will provide Family Time Visits to parents that currently do not have access to their children, transporting children to and from the visit and maintaining safety and/or wellbeing of the children during the visits. The RCW will also provide one on one support for youth in the community. They will establish goals that are identified using the appropriate assessments and support the youth in accomplishing those goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

· A diploma or degree in human services field diploma or fully certified within their field of practice and/or 2 years of work-related experience in a human services field
· Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
· Demonstrated skills in high-stress or conflict situations
Other Requirements: A current, clear Police Information Check (vulnerable sector included) and Child Intervention Record Check, both dated within the last 6 months. A valid AB driver’s license (minimum class 5), proof of appropriate insurance, a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits.
Schedule: You will receive either Friday/Saturday off or Sunday/Monday off and be scheduled for Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday workdays, working 8 hours per day within any agency programs. Note that this is a schedule based on the availability of the families you are serving and has significant evening and weekend hours based on your assigned family’s needs.
