Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity Our Whangarei based service is seeking a social worker (a graduate is preferred) to provide fixed term parental leave cover until February 2027. Ngā pūkenga kei a koe I Your Skills and Experience Are familiar with strength-based practice principles Ideally with some experience working with children, with families, and in group settings Thrive in a busy multi-disciplinary team Show exemplary professional practice Have outstanding communication and people skills Knowledge of tikanga Maori an advantage. Assessment and counselling abilities. Registered with a professional body -SWRB In addition, you will have great computer skills, a reliable car and a full and current NZ driver licence.
