Responsibilities

College Computing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support IT Procurement for the . Working closely with the college’s IT Procurement Manager, the selected individual will work to ensure the smooth operation of procurement activities, vendor coordination, end-user communications, and administrative processes related to technology acquisition and management within the college.

  • Provide administrative support to the IT Procurement Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and managing communications.
  • Assist in processing purchase requests, tracking orders, and maintaining procurement records.
  • Handle incoming deliveries and maintain inventory of the receiving area.
  • Facilitate pickup of orders by staff and faculty, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Work with vendors to obtain quotes as needed for IT-related purchases.
  • Help set up tickets in Salesforce for equipment setup and deployment.
  • Support contract management and renewal processes.
  • Fill in for the IT Procurement Manager during absences, maintaining continuity of operations.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries.
  • Providing excellent, responsive service to our college customers (faculty, staff and students) when they contact our office (walk in or call in)
