EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • College level coursework in business, sales, marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry a plus.

Responsibilities

OFFICE BASED ROLE IN TIGARD, OREGON

The Freight Audit and Payment Account Manager is the primary point of contact of clients on all FAP matters. This position provides day-to-day support for customer and carrier inquiries regarding invoice payment. This position will work closely with Operations, Finance, and Technology to support the needs of the customers. They directly manage exceptions in the FAP processes and maintain close working relationships with AFS GFM’s clients. In addition, this role is required to uphold our core values: Ethics, Engagement, and Excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyze client inquiries and make informed decisions
  • Provide quality and timely updates to clients
  • Assist with client reporting needs and provide additional data as requested
  • Utilize technology platforms to assist clients regarding setup, change requests and execution needs
  • Grow client relationships through product and industry knowledge
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance and Operations departments to troubleshoot and drive process improvements within accounts
  • Run Edit jobs to ensure correct data output
  • Train vendors and customers on portals
