Farm Attendant Seasonal Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.25/hr to $20.13/hr depending on qualifications and experience Must be at least 18 years and older Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Position Description: The Farm Attendant cares for the animals and ensures compliance was health and sanitation regulations at the Stew Leonard’s Little Animal Farm. Your day-to-day: Ensure animal corrals are clean of feces Ensures animals are fed and have water Maintain required logs and records for farm maintenance and animal care Report any potential illness to veterinarian or store manager Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations Assist in other duties, as assigned Qualifications: Entry level position No prior experience required, but a passion for animals a plus Great customer service Good oral communication What you bring to the team: Great work ethic Problem solver Self-motivator Flexible Honest Working Conditions: Position requires prolonged exposure to outdoor heat and frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting of 50 pounds.
