What we provide: Competitive pay Generous medical and dental plan Pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Paid vacation & sick time Employee discounts, Industry-leading training and opportunities for advancement What are the job duties: Oyster Harvesting Oyster Seed Planting and Husbandry Operate small and heavy medium machinery such as forklifts, tractors, trucks and boats Assist with ranch and environmental clean-up; must be compliant with all regulations Equipment maintenance which includes cleaning of equipment Communicate via email and/or verbally with other employees, managers, and guests Abide by the Hog Island Company rules, policies, and procedures, including safety trainings and meetings, as defined in the Staff Guide Report to work in a timely manner and in accordance with the defined schedule Additional Duties: Communicate via email, phone, and/or verbally with other employees, managers, and guests Abide by the Hog Island Company rules, policies, and procedures, including safety trainings and meetings, as defined in the Employee Handbook Report to work in a timely manner and in accordance with the defined schedule Requirements Measurements of Success: Follows direction of Farm Foreman and/or Farm General Manager Maintains a positive attitude, even in the toughest of work conditions Communication is clear and prompt Provide timely support to other departments Maintain an exceptional record of punctuality and attendance Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform this role.
