JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated Shepherd to assist in managing our seasonal targeted grazing and winter farming operations. This role involves working closely with livestock (sheep), monitoring vegetation, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with clients to ensure effective land management solutions. This position will provide exposure to multispecies grazing, including sheep, pigs, and poultry.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Experience working with livestock, is preferred, but willing to train.
  • Knowledge of rotational grazing, regenerative agriculture, or agrivoltaics is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to outdoor conditions in various weather.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude for basic repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel between project sites, and work in remote areas.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety.
  • Equipment operation (Skid Steer, TMR Mixer, UTV, commercial mower).
