JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

We are seeking ideal candidates as a Farm Manager Trainee who should have knowledge of farming and should be a self-starter and highly driven. Primary responsibility of this job is to provide leadership and direction in the production and maintenance operations to ensure timely and cost efficient production. Day-to-day supervision of the team to achieve all aspects of production on poultry farms to include competitive performance, budgeting, planning, scheduling and maintaining compliance in a safe manner, and for compliance with all local, county, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of poultry husbandry, biosecurity, and production cycles.
• Basic math, reasoning, and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, farm management software).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and be on-call 24/7.
• Forklift Training, OSHA 10, Lock-Out Tag-Out certifications preferred.
• Physically able to work in varying environmental conditions and perform manual labor as needed.
• Required to participate in weekly personal swab testing for Salmonella monitoring in accordance with pedigree biosecurity standards.
