Our small office team is looking to welcome a reliable and proactive individual to join us in supporting the day-to-day running of our farm office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a friendly, organised and efficient Farm Office Administrator to support the daily administrative tasks of our busy farm office. This role is vital in helping our team stay organised and focused. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, computer-literate and confident in working both independently and as part of a team. This is a varied role with room to grow and develop, offering a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and successful rural business.

Responsibilities
  • Organising transport and logistics for produce and supplies
  • Updating customer and order information
  • Data entry and report production using Gatekeeper software (training provided)
  • Dealing with customer and supplier enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Welcoming visitors into the office and handling walk-in enquiries
  • Checking supplier invoices against price lists
  • Monitoring and recording solar energy output data
  • Maintaining training records and arranging bookings as needed
  • Supporting farm assurance work and scheduling services/inspections
  • Stocking and managing office supplies/stationery cupboard
  • Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Filing, scanning and other general office administration
  • Supporting directors with ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Assisting in the review and update of internal systems and processes
  • Undertaking training as required
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Performing other reasonable duties as needed to suit the business
  • Sending soil samples for analysis and recording results on return
  • Keeping livestock records up to date, including cattle movement and documentation
