THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and forward-thinking manager to drive, progress and lead our work force, and to oversee and manage all operations at Oakes Farm Shop.
Oakes Farm Shop is a family-run business comprising of an 80-seater Café, Butchery, Retail Shop, and Bakery.
The ideal candidate must have experience and a strong interest in both retail and hospitality, have a creative eye, be decisive and work with a team to maximise sales, improve margins and maintain a high quality customer experience.
The Farm Shop Manager will manage all aspects of the farm shop operations on a day-to-day basis, assuring compliance to all relevant legislation and company policies, regarding health and safety, food hygiene and staff management.
We are looking for someone who is keen to drive progress and develop within the new role. The role will be across all areas of the business, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and business development therefore presenting an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and exciting new role.
The successful person would have strong interpersonal skills to manage and motivate our current team of over 35 employees across 5 departments, whilst also developing and implementing strategies to improve the business to reach long-term targets.
