Andrews Scenic Acres sells fresh produce and other farm products at its Farm Store.
The Farm Store Lead is responsible for daily management of the store and store staff. The role includes cash operations, staff supervision, and inventory control.
We are looking for a Farm Store Lead to work part time to full time hours during the fall (August - September-October).

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the staff team, provide direction and training.
  • Manage daily cash operations
  • Monitor product quality and inventory daily
  • Complete daily and weekly inventory and sales reports, and maintain appropriate store inventory levels
  • In charge of retail displays, and in-store advertisement

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Updating and organizing office files; including staff procedures, checklists, etc.
  • Handle cash, card transactions, and manage receipts accurately.
  • Ensure efficient checkout processes even during peak seasons like weekends or holidays.
  • Field customer phone calls, voicemails, emails and social media inquiries on a daily basis
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns
  • Resolve any questions, concerns, conflicts and issues among staff
  • Other duties as occasionally assigned if safe and practical to do so
