Harley Greens is an innovative Ontario-based vertical farming company dedicated to producing premium, nutrient-rich leafy greens and herbs. Utilizing state-of-the-art, physician-informed controlled-environment agriculture, we deliver fresh, clean produce with exceptional flavour, consistency, and shelf life—year-round. Our products will be supplied to retailers, distributors, and food-service clients in Southern Ontario.
We are seeking a Farm Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who lives locally to the facility and has a strong work ethic.
Agricultural experience is an asset, but is not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to work in conditions typically found in a vertical farm with high humidity and varying temperatures, from cooler to grow rooms (eg. 4 degrees up to 30 degrees Celsius)
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds consistently in order to lift and move product
· Ability to balance, reach and grasp while climbing on a step stool and/or ladder
· Ability to crouch, grasps, and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly
· Ability to be on feet while performing job responsibilities
· Open to occasional or regular weekend work (ie. 1 day per week)

Pay: $39,000.00-$41,000.00 per year

· Complete training matrix outlining all facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Collaborate closely with other farm technicians and management on farming operations
· Carry out seeding, transplanting, and harvesting tasks associated with all crop varieties
· Comply with all applicable food safety and quality protocols implemented by management (e.g., GAP, GMP, HACCP)
· Operate farm equipment as needed, including automated harvester and raft washer. Perform cleaning, inspection, and general sanitation protocols on farm equipment
· Maintain a clean, sanitary working environment. Daily sanitizing of work areas and equipment, as well as scheduled facility cleaning
· Regular lifting of 10-20 lbs.
· Assist in managing inventory of all farming supplies, tools, and equipment, including shipping/receiving of materials and harvested crops
· Be an active and positive contributor to the Harley Greens team
· Any other duty deemed essential as requested by management
