Join the Online Farmers Market! If you have a passion for locally grown and produced food, we are a tech-enabled local shopping and delivery service that you will love being a part of.
Our hub serves the Michiana area. We provide a direct channel for local farmers and food artisans to market and distribute their products online to residents in their area. Once a week, on Market Day, the local groceries move into and out of our building. We deliver the orders directly to consumers’ homes.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Market Wagon is looking for a Hub Coordinator with demonstrated leadership experience, proven talent to juggle multiple tasks, and a passion for locally grown food.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Solid work experience, ideally management experience in a restaurant or other fast-paced environment or experience in a farming or food distribution business
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize in real time
• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects
• Working style that is self-motivated and detail-minded
• Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues
  This is a part-time position starting at 10-12 hours a week.

• Hire & supervise delivery drivers and other helpers at the hub
• Prepare for and manage the weekly order-filling cycles
• Coordinate and manage activities on Market Day (Thursday)
• Resolve any problems that may arise
• Interact positively with local farmers and artisans when they visit the hub each week
