Description Winvian Farm is a luxury resort experience like no other. We are a Relais & Chateaux property located in the Litchfield Hills. Our Executive Chef has a seed to table philosophy, using as much fresh produce grown onsite as possible. We are seeking a hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate would support agricultural operations onsite, helping to contribute to the production of high-quality crops for our kitchen and restaurant. This is a seasonal position running from March through October, with a starting hourly rate of $20.00/ hour. Requirements Requirements · Ability to plant, cultivate & harvest crops in accordance with sustainable farming practices. · Operating and maintaining farm equipment, such as tractors, tillers and irrigation systems all in accordance with safety standards. · Monitor crop health, reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager · Transporting harvested produce to storage or the restaurant as needed · Required to engage in team meetings, suggesting improvements to farming practices and processes. · Prior experience working on a farm is required, with a basic knowledge of farm equipment operation & maintenance · Knowledge of sustainable farming practices is preferred.
