Job Posting: Farmers Market Sales Associate
Location: Georgetown / Tri-Cities and Surrounding Areas
Employment Type: Part-Time (May - October)
Beefway and GF Meats are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Farmers Market Sales Associate to join our team! If you are passionate about local, high-quality meat products and enjoy interacting with customers, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and work at various farmers markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from May to October.
- Set up and take down our fully equipped farmers market vehicle, including a tent, and glass display freezers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and sharing knowledge about our meat products.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
- Communicate clearly regarding pre orders and deliveries
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (vehicle will be provided for market days).
- Reliable and punctual with being on time and set up ready to go at market start times
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will reside in close proximity to Georgetown or the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who is passionate about local products, personable, and proactive.
