For my agricultural business, I am looking for a reliable and energetic support person as an agricultural helper as soon as possible , preferably from 01.10.2026 .

The work is varied and involves tasks related to the house, yard, garden, and animal husbandry (pigs and poultry) . Depending on the needs, duties include general farm work, maintenance of grounds and green spaces, assistance with agricultural activities, and minor repairs. 

An important part of our job is the daily care and feeding of our animals. This includes, in particular, feeding, watering, bedding, mucking out, and the general monitoring and grooming of the animals. A calm, responsible, and animal-friendly approach is therefore very important.

Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, machinery operation, or skilled trades is advantageous but not mandatory. Motivation, reliability, the ability to work independently, physical stamina, and careful handling of animals, equipment, and machinery are essential. 

A Class B driving licence is desirable. Experience with tractors and working with front loaders is

also welcome.

The position can be part-time , with a suitable number of hours, or full -time, depending on the agreement . The workplace is located in a district of Stoetze, within the municipality of Rosche. We will gladly provide the exact address upon request and request.

The starting wage is €13.90 gross per hour. Depending on experience, reliability, area of ​​work and tasks undertaken, a higher hourly wage is of course negotiable.

Your tasks:

• Preparation and maintenance of experimental plots and greenhouses for new crops
• Sowing, planting and maintenance work – both mechanical and manual
• Cultivation and care of young plants in the greenhouse and in the open field
• Care and protection of crops (e.g. irrigation, fertilization, pest control, weed control)
• Carrying out pollination work and harvesting seeds, fruits and plants
• Cleaning and processing of seeds
• Active participation in the optimization of work processes and the submission of suggestions for improvement.

Your profile:

• Ideally, you will have completed training in plant technology, horticulture, agriculture or a comparable qualification (but we also welcome career changers).
• Ideally, practical experience in plant production or in a greenhouse.
• Careful, reliable and independent work ethic
• Team spirit and willingness to take responsibility
• Flexibility and enjoyment of working outdoors and in greenhouses
• Very good German skills
