Your tasks with us:

Animal care: You will be responsible for the daily feeding and species-appropriate care of our alpacas.
Health checks: You keep a watchful eye on the animals' well-being and carry out regular routine checks.
Birth care: You will sensitively accompany our mares during births and assist with the initial care of the foals (crias).
Stable maintenance: Daily mucking out of the stables and paddocks is part of your routine to provide our animals with a clean home.
Farm & Grounds: You will reliably help with manual and maintenance work around the stable and the entire farm grounds.

You bring the following:

Love of animals & sensitivity: Ideally, you already have experience handling farm animals or horses/alpacas. However, this is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you love animals!
Physical fitness: Working on the farm and in the stable is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in all weather conditions.
Reliability: You are characterized by independent, careful work and a sense of responsibility.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays (by arrangement), especially during maternity season.
Craftsmanship or experience in handling farm vehicles (e.g. tractor/wheel loader) is a plus.

We are looking for a dedicated employee (m/f/d) for yard and grounds maintenance for a renowned company, who will support the team with a reliable and energetic work ethic.

Tasks

Maintenance and cleaning of the depots, including sweeping and watering.
Performing minor landscaping tasks, such as mowing the lawn and pruning plants
Removing cobwebs from buildings
Acceptance and forwarding of delivered packages
Assistance for the deputy caretaker
Conducting inventory checks of work, cleaning, hygiene and sanitary supplies.
Occasional support at the gate during regular working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Helping out in the clothing bank

Requirements

Previous professional experience in janitorial services, yard maintenance, groundskeeping or a comparable activity is an advantage.
Craftsmanship and a meticulous work ethic
Physical resilience and enjoyment of practical outdoor activities
Reliability, teamwork and a sense of responsibility
Good German skills, both spoken and written.
Class B driving licence is an advantage
