EDUCATION

  • Minimum 2 years post-secondary education in agriculture with 2 years’ experience in the agricultural industry; or
  • Minimum 2 years post-secondary education, not in agriculture, with 3 years’ experience in the agricultural industry

EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced in the poultry/livestock/agricultural industry
  • Experienced with quality/audit systems
  • Experienced with inspections

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Decisive under pressure
  • Operate with integrity in all situations
  • Self-motivated to achieve high-quality standards and targets/metrics with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during work planning and completion
  • Build relationships with farmers and industry stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills to determine root cause and potential resolution
  • Conflict management and resolution skills with an ability to recognize potential conflict and work for resolution and de-escalation of the situation
  • Ability to operate within a team and also work independently on workload planning and management
  • Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record
