ProTemps/Protégé is a long standing staffing agency in Calgary, Alberta. We are currently seeking to fill an opening for a CWB Certified Welder/Welder with Flux-Core to join our client in the SE Calgary.

ALSO NEED TO BE EXPERIENCE IN OPERATING A SAW AND ABLE TO READ BLUE PRINTS. YOU WILL NEED TO FIT STRUCTURAL SKIDS.

Quality and consistency in welds is a must
-Be able to take instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the shop Foreman
-Lay out, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
-Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
-Be familiar with structural Fabrication forming and various other fabrication processes
-Responsible to wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
-Skilled at using equipment such as – grinders, torches, chop saw, drill press and other hand tools
Additionally, this person will be required to have steel toe shoes or boots.
