Description FCHC Orthopedics - Receptionist Department: FCHC Orthopedics Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly Shift: 1st shift Hours: Monday - Wednesday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM; Thursday, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a Receptionist to join our team at FCHC Orthopedics. Key Responsibilities: Schedule patient appointments and tests. Complete referrals and enter patient information. Collect copays and obtain necessary forms and signatures for treatment, release of information, and insurance precertifications. Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers appropriately. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Previous physician office experience and Electronic Health Record (EHR) software experience preferred. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and computer skills.
