Description FCHC Primary Care Wauseon - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) Department: FCHC Primary Care Wauseon Status Hours: Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly Shift: 1st shift ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our FCHC Primary Care Wauseon team. In this role, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care by documenting patient encounters, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, and preparing for and assisting with exams, procedures, and wound/incision dressing changes. You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other offices and facilities on behalf of the patient. Key Responsibilities: Document patient encounters as directed by the provider Escort/assist patients to rooms Take and record patient vitals Prepare patients for exams and procedures Assist with wound and incision dressing changes Take patient phone calls and communicate with other healthcare facilities ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is required Prior experience in a provider office setting is preferred Strong multitasking skills Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent customer service skills
