Description

Create Field Data Collection (FDC) forms from analog versions or examples from alternative digital platforms provided by various disciplines within Stantec ES. Develop solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing applications using the AGOL and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Engage with ES Data Practice FDC leadership to better understand processes and formulate solutions given a set of requirements. Adhere to Stantec’s data security requirements. Follow appropriate documentation and change control processes. Support Citizen Developers in the business in understanding how to use AGOL/Survey 123 to develop their own FDC forms Independently shepherd a solution from development to deployment to ongoing support. Support formal user acceptance testing activities such as test case creation, execution, and issue resolution. Responsible for production environment and evaluation of production code, including code review of junior and intermediate team members. Transparently communicate issues and resolutions, seek clarifications to align with project teams, and escalate with resolution steps taken. Provide support for the platform to ensure staff using the tools remain productive and billable. Capabilities & Credentials: ESRI AGOL, Experience Builder, Survey-123, and Field Maps project and form development experience is required. SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Excel & PowerBI experience a plus, but not required Capable of developing both prototype and enterprise-class solutions. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Excellent team player demonstrated by being held accountable to other team members while also holding other team members to their tasks. Proactive communicator Technical leadership skills. Exercises independent judgement, capable of working under general supervision.

Responsibilities

The FDC Power Platform Developer will create Field Data Collection forms and develop solutions to enhance collaboration and productivity using AGOL and Microsoft Power Platform. They will also support user acceptance testing and provide ongoing support for the platform.
