Description
SAIC is seeking Site Survey Leads to support the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires up to 30% travel within the United States.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
  • Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains
  • Experience with cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber)
  • Experience in integrating work efforts involving National Airspace System (NAS) decision support systems.
  • Experience providing support and communications at operational field facilities during site surveys
  • Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language, including the ability to summarize discussions and action items.
  • Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
