FDIR Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for the design, specification, implementation and verification of the FDIR (Failure, Detection, Isolation and Recovery) concept within the satellite
  • Coordination with subsystem engineers, software developers, satellite systems engineering, operations and RAMS
  • Focal point to the customer for Satellite FDIR
  • Support system level design reviews
  • Contribute to FDIR standardization process, identify innovative technologies suited for FDIR

Your Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, mechanical engineering or compatible qualification
  • Professional experience with satellite projects in phase B/C/D
  • Self-managed, proactive and solution-oriented working style
  • Ability to team leadership as well as work in a team
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
