JOB SUMMARY
The Student Assistant performs a variety of technology support duties through close interaction with staff, faculty, and students.
The duties and responsibilities of this position require interpersonal communication skills and an understanding of effective customer service.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Enrolled in at least 6 hours at GCSU
Must be currently awarded Federal Work Study funds
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Student enrolled in at least six credit hours as an undergraduate student at Georgia College.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Be awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) through the Financial Aid Office at GCSU for the current aid year. Federal Work Study awards can be confirmed through the student’s PAWS account, Financial Aid, then Award Offer tab. Students who are not awarded FWS can contact the Financial Aid Office to see if they are eligible at financialaid@gcsu.edu.
This position will work in-person up to 19 hours per week.
