Description Job Type PART-TIME, as needed - not a scheduled run Description Alan Ritchey Inc is hiring dependable, safe, and responsible drivers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to operate line haul FedEx routes. Previous FedEx experience preferred. Must be FedEx Qualified for Immediate Start Requires Class A CDL with doubles and triples endorsements. Alan Ritchey Inc has both forward and driver facing cameras in our tractors. Alan Ritchey Inc. has been in business since 1963. Additional Information: Company Driver No loading or unloading 65 cents a mile for FedEx routes Mail runs vary according to contract. New, automatic Equipment Paid Orientation $110.00 Safety Bonus Direct Deposit Requirements Hold an appropriate commercial driver's license with required endorsements Be twenty-one (21) years of age for short hauls (within a 150-mile radius of the Alan Ritchey, Inc. facility you work from); or be twenty-three (23) years of age for long hauls (exceeding the 150-mile radius) Be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S. Have two (2) years verifiable over-the-road experience Have no more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years Have no preventable accidents deemed serious by Alan Ritchey, Inc Have no DWI/DUI convictions or charges in the last 7 years, or multiple DWI/DUI convictions or charges, pending DWI/DUI charges regardless of length of time Have no felony charges or pending felony charges in the last 7 years Have no outstanding warrants or driver license’s suspensions Requirements Driver Requirements: Hold a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements. Be at least 21 years old for short hauls (within a 150-mile radius of your assigned Alan Ritchey, Inc. facility) or 23 years old for long hauls (beyond 150 miles). Be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. Have at least one year of verifiable over-the-road experience for long hauls. Have no more than three moving violations in the past three years. Have no preventable serious accidents Have no DWI/DUI convictions or charges in the past seven years, including multiple convictions or pending charges. Have no felony charges or pending felony charges in the last seven years. Have no outstanding warrants or license suspensions.

Responsibilities

Operate line haul FedEx routes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area using automatic equipment. Responsibilities include safe transport of goods without the need for loading or unloading.
