Description We are seeking a skilled Feed Mill Maintenance Manager to support the reliable operation of our feed mill facilities. This role is essential in maintaining equipment performance, ensuring safety, and supporting efficient production. Job Responsibilities • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mill equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. • Coordinate maintenance activities with operations staff. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. • Assist with installation and startup of new equipment. • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements. • Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize disruptions. • Participate in ongoing training and skill development. • Work with external vendors for specialized repairs or parts. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Welding and fabrication experience. Effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated systems. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on call shifts. Physical ability to lift heavy objects. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
