Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supports New Vision Co-op’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values. Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times. Provides outstanding and courteous customer service. Collect, label and send feed ingredient and finished feed samples for lab analysis. Organize and share lab test results with Supervisor. Collect, label and perform in-house quality tests for pellet durability, incoming ingredients and on ground corn for micron size. Organize and share in-house test results with Supervisor. File claims and monitor results on feed ingredients that do not comply with purchased quality standards. Collect medicated feed samples, send samples for drug assay and file results as directed by Supervisor. Maintain feed tag software program, enter updates and maintain archive. Daily manual drug reconciliation. Provide clerical support for Supervisor’s HACCP mill certification, employee training and customer meetings. Maintain current formula book and archive file for one year. Dispose outdated formulas. Order feed mill and office supplies (scale tickets, sample bags, feed tag paper, bagging supplies, office supplies etc.) for the Worthington location. Monitor Worthington fuel tank and perform monthly MPCA inspection. Assist in monthly fuel inventory control reports. Service walk-in feed customers. Maintain Worthington fleet inspection reports, logs and maintenance. Assemble and maintain feed audit paperwork for customers, vendors and feed mill inspection personnel. Assist production with bagging and toting feed product. Accept additional responsibilities as directed by Feed Division Quality Assurance Manager. Requirements H.S. Diploma/GED and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
