You will learn how to operate batch mixing, loading and receiving equipment to mix feed ingredients per the company's specified feed formulations to produce finished feeds that meet our manufacturing agreements. What will you do? Batch, mix, and route feed according to specified formulas and procedures. Properly weigh all premix and short mix additions per established formulas. Monitor product quality and adjust equipment accordingly. (particle/pellet size and quality) Monitor drug inventory usage in accordance with FDA regulations. Accurately complete and maintain assigned reports, logs, and documents. Communicate and coordinate batching schedule and production with appropriate personnel to maximize total plant efficiency. Follow GMP’s, Quality Control Manual, and established plant procedures while monitoring the process for finished bulk and bagged feeds. Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping. Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license. Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds. Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment. Other Skills that will help you succeed: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training. Obtain a Class A CDL with required endorsements.
