The Milken Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank determined to increase global prosperity by advancing collaborative solutions that widen access to capital, create jobs and improve health. We do this through independent, data-driven research, action-oriented meetings, and meaningful policy initiatives.

The Milken Institute Singapore Fellowship Program aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders who are equipped to tackle the issues that shape the global agenda as they enter the financial, investment, corporate, multilateral, or philanthropic sectors. We create a customized experience, which is tailored to their interest area and career trajectory as well as emphasizes their professional and personal development. This experience includes opportunities to:

  • Learn from high-level business leaders, ambassadors, business leaders, and academic experts as part of our “Global Leaders Speaker Series”
  • Meet and work with the Milken Institute’s global network of senior executives
  • Learn from senior leaders at the Milken Institute
  • Network with an international and diverse group of peers and professionals

Key Responsibilities

The Asia Center is looking for an individual to support the team in building up our events, programs, and stakeholder outreach and engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to accomplish the following responsibilities:

  • Perform background research and write short summaries on industry topics, including economic, social, finance, politics, technology, and health care, to name a few;
  • Identify key executives within business and government, and be able to do outreach and engagement with their office
  • Organize and update key program and event documents and stakeholder details
  • Generate content for social media and strategize how to boost the Institute’s overall visibility

Qualifications

  • Detailed-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Candidate should be a proactive self-manager of responsibilities and be able to learn on the job
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate is preferred

Fellowship Duration
We offer a 12-month program. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and work 20-40 hours a week.
