^In Scotland, all care staff are required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), the regulator for the social service workforce in Scotland. You must maintain your registration with SSSC and ensure your annual renewal is completed. You must also work towards your SVQ2 which Cera will fund however, there will be an SVQ registration fee which will be payable by the employee.

Responsibilities

We have a limited number of 16 hour per week permanent contracts available in this location, with every other weekend off for work life balance. To be eligible for guaranteed hours you must have good general availability, be a driver with a car and be willing to travel across our service area when required (we will always aim to schedule rota’s with minimal travel time where we can). You can also earn additional income via overtime opportunities or through our refer a friend scheme - up to £500 per referral.
We’re recruiting part-time and full-time care assistants to support our clients at home. We have work available in Kirkcudbright and surrounding areas.
For this role you require a driving license and access to a vehicle for work. We have a flexible approach for shifts including mornings, days, evenings and nights - you’ll usually have every other weekend off for work-life balance.
