JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits.
  • Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communication within the team.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity by encouraging participation in daily routines.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  • Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet the specific needs of each resident.
  • Drive to various locations for home care assignments, ensuring safe transportation for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to senior staff.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of care.
