ABOUT US:

My Disability Care is a registered NDIS provider with offices in Brisbane and Hervey Bay. We are committed to providing high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities, and we’re currently seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Hervey Bay region.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support (or a related field).
• First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work outside standard school/business hours.
• Current driver’s license (mandatory).
• Own transport

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Orientation Module.
• 100 points of ID verification
• National Criminal History Check (in some cases)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Job Type: Casual
• Salary: $34.44 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
• Shift Timing: Rotating Roster
• Location: In-person

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs.
• Provide in-home and community access support for both children and adults.
• Assist with personal care as required.
• Follow a rotating roster and adapt to the needs of the clients.
