We are seeking a compassionate and professional female Patient Chaperone volunteer to join our ultrasound clinic team. The successful candidate will provide essential support and comfort to patients during ultrasound examinations, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional chaperoning services during ultrasound examinations
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout procedures
• Maintain a calm and reassuring presence during examinations
• Follow all clinic protocols and infection control procedures
• Support clinic operations and patient flow
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in healthcare or patient care preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work sensitively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Fluency in English; additional languages an asset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging or ultrasound environment
• Understanding of patient privacy laws (PHIPA)
