Our Palliative team work in pairs on either early or lates shifts – a minimum requirement of three shifts a week is required for consistency of care during this difficult time. Full support and training (including hands-on mentoring) is provided from our Management Team and Advanced Care Assistants. Shifts Available; Late - 3pm to 11pm & Weekends Benefits of being a Community Palliative Care Assistant: Competitive Rates of pay £14 per hour Flexible working hours 20 to 30 hours per week Full training given – Fully funded industry recognized Qualifications available Employee Assistance programme (dealing with bereavement etc) Career progression with the role is readily available for the right candidates.
