AB Nurses Support Services is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team. We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients. We currently have casual opportunities available for all successful applicants.
Support Workers are directly responsible for the day-to-day support, personal care and personal development of our clients. Shifts are dependent on client needs, varying in length, location and requirements. You will be matched with clients based on your availability, experiences and client preferences. Client requirements may include:
Personal care – assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, eating and drinking, etc.
High-intensity care – behavioural difficulties, bowel care, wound care, etc.
Medication administration, supervision and/or management.
Social, recreational, community access – shopping, running errands, social activities, fitness, etc.
Transportation – to and from appointments, work, social events/activities.
Home care – general domestic tasks, maintenance, gardening, etc.
Employment assistance
Support Workers provide a range of community living services to assist people with a disability to be actively involved in their local community, be valued, respected and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships.

Looking for candidates available to work on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays
Working rights required for this role.
Experience is Preferable.
