FEMALE DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER – MULTIPLE SHIFTS | IMMEDIATE START | NORTH BRISBANE

Job Type: Part-time / Casual
Location: Aspley, Rochedale & surrounding suburbs (North Brisbane, QLD)
Pay: $24.95 – $45 per hour (depending on experience)
Expected Hours: 16–38 hours per week

Compass Connect Support Services is currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Female Disability Support Workers for immediate start across North Brisbane. We support participants with diverse and complex needs in their homes and communities — and we’re growing fast.
Whether you’re looking for consistent weekday hours or flexible part-time shifts, we have roles ready to begin now.
This is a female-only role, permitted under Section 27 & 30 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (QLD), due to the personal care requirements of our female participants.

Responsibilities

You will be working 1:1 with participants who may have a combination of support needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 3, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, mobility challenges, and behaviours of concern.

Your role will include:

  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Behaviour support strategies and routine implementation
  • Support with community access and activities (including swimming, where required)
  • Assistance with mobility and manual handling (wheelchair use required for some clients)
  • Following daily routines and recording accurate progress notes
  • Communicating effectively with families and the care team
  • Participant Transport

We currently have shifts available Monday to Friday, with a mix of full-day and shorter shifts. While most shifts are daytime, evening or night shifts may occasionally be required based on participant needs.
