JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Home Assistant (Live-in Carer as well) to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. This position requires a proactive approach to care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

SKILLS

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
• Experience in home care or care home settings is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients safely.

  Qualifications:
  Care Certificate
  Mandatory training certificates: Safe Administration of Medication, Safeguarding, Moving & Assisting, Basic First Aid, Mental Capacity & DOLS, Infection Control etc.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as required.
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs, ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home, including light housekeeping duties.
• Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
