• Support clients with dignity and kindness by helping with personal care such as washing, dressing
• Prepare and serve meals that nourish and bring comfort – sometimes it’s a cuppa and a chat
• Offer a steady hand and gentle encouragement with moving around safely
• Be a friendly, familiar face – someone to talk to, laugh with, or simply sit beside when company is needed
• Keep a caring eye on health and wellbeing, noticing and reporting any changes in how someone is feeling or behaving
• Work together with families and professionals, making sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to care
• Give medication safely and confidently, helping clients stay on top of their health with support and reassurance
