Job Description About the Role Are you a caring and reliable individual who wants to make a genuine difference in your local community? Home Instead Charnwood is looking for female Home Care Professionals with weekend and evening availability to join our award-winning team. This role involves visiting clients in their own homes, offering personalised care that promotes dignity, independence, and companionship. Due to the personal care nature of the role, this position is open to female applicants only, in line with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1). A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential. What You Will Do Visit clients across Charnwood and provide one-to-one home care Assist with personal care, medication, mobility support and companionship Carry out light housekeeping, shopping and errands Follow tailored care plans to support each client’s individual needs Build genuine, lasting relationships with clients and their families Maintain clear communication with the office team and other care professionals Qualifications What We Are Looking For Female applicants only (Occupational Requirement) Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car You must have full right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer any form of visa sponsorship A kind, patient, and caring nature Excellent communication skills A desire to help others and build meaningful relationships Care experience is a bonus, but full training is provided – so personality matters most Additional Information What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: £12.50 – £15.00 Paid travel time – from your first visit to your last Paid Training Weekend pay enhancements Mileage allowance: 35p per mile Guaranteed hours and salaried contracts available Holiday pay and pension scheme Up to £500 employee referral bonus Ongoing paid training – including City & Guilds-accredited Dementia and Parkinson’s care 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme Retail and lifestyle discounts Health and well-being support Free flu jabs On-site parking where applicable Supportive team culture and regular company events
