Responsibilities

Support work isn’t just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. At Insignia Healthcare Group we believe that everyone has the right to live a fulfilling life and reach their full potential. Although a good cup of tea does go a long way!!
We are looking for someone to support a young male adult who is support within the family home in Costessey (Norwich). He has complex clinical needs which include; Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), Neuromuscular Scoliosis, Haemophilia as well as support with his respiratory needs including Non-invasive Ventilation. Staff are also required to support with eating, drinking and personal care. He enjoys trips out into the community to find new hot chocolate spots, bowling and exploring the local area so staff will need to hold a full and clean driving license to be able to drive his vehicle. Whilst at home he enjoys playing Lego and board games with his carers and time on his Xbox. Shifts are 12hrs (08:30 - 20:30) which includes alternative weekend working.
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
