FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER – MATURE AND EXPERIENCED

Location: Ellenbrook, WA

ABOUT THE PARTICIPANT

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate female support worker to assist a delightful 10-year-old girl living in Ellenbrook with her family.
She is highly social and enjoys interaction, water play, beach activities, sand play, and being part of lively environments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Mature female support worker (due to participant/family preference).
  • Experience working with children with complex needs.
  • Skilled in PEG feeding and dysphagia care.
  • Patient, reliable, and compassionate.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and relevant training.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent (desirable).
    Job Type: Casual
    Pay: $33.00 – $43.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support in the home and community.
  • Assist with PEG feeding and monitor/manage dysphagia symptoms.
  • Support the client’s communication, engagement, and daily routines.
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
  • Follow care plans and collaborate with family members.
    Additional needs include: non-verbal communication, intellectual disability, reflux, dysphagia, cortical vision impairment, and management of chronic bowel issues.
    Specialist skills in PEG feeding and dysphagia management are essential.
