OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings. As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly for those with specific needs such as Autism or behavioural challenges and one to one personal care needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in one to one care and support
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage behaviours compassionately.
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support assistance to clients
  • Willing to Support service users with personal care when required
  • Supporting service users out in the community
  • Attending Appointments and Activities
  • Support clients with mobility needs when necessary.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required.
  • Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behaviour.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any concerns or changes in client condition.
  • Keeping Service Users finance and medication documents up to date
  • Confident with Cooking food and a good knowledge of different diatry requirements
  • Willing to work direct 1 to 1 Support with Sleep Overs included
  • Willing to work as part of a team of support workers
