JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team working with our client in Framlingham on a 2:1 basis The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our client who lives in their own home with their Mum, younger brother and cat.
Our client is 18 years old with complex health needs and severe learning disabilities, they love spending time with people, listening to music, watching anything interesting, and getting out and about.
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring dignity and comfort is maintained. The Support Worker will assist clients with daily activities, Personal care and contribute to their overall well-being.

EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of epilepsy, and gastrostomy enteral feeding would be an advantage all though full extensive training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Experience with using hoists.
  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support nutritional needs this is via a Mic-key Button and gastrostomy
  • Assist with medication administration as per care plans. .
  • Facilitate activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assistance with Moving and handling
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
